Grover Waitt

Hamilton County lost not only a good and loving friend, but a true Republican on Sunday in Grover Waitt. Grover was the longest serving Republican committeeman in Hamilton County. He took great pride in leading, for so many years, the Pledge Of Allegience at the Republican Women's Bean Dinner held each year in Sheridan. He influenced many office holders in the County. People would always seek Grover out wanting his support. We can only offer Teresa our deepest sympathy. Grover's integrity, friendly smile and memory will always remain in our hearts. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in First United Methodist Church, Sheridan, Indiana, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Grover will be laid to rest in Crown View Cemetery, Sheridan.
